Red Grouper Fish Mount
KSM's collection of Saltwater Fish Reproductions represent the most sought-after species of the Atlantic, Caribbean, Gulf of Mexico and Pacific Ocean. King Sailfish individually crafts each mount by hand....one-at-a-time. Every original reproduction is carefully painted by our experienced artists who custom blend translucent colors in layers to acheive an exciting high depth of color. Each mount is lightweight and easy to install, and comes with a built-in balanced hanger.

The Red Grouper occurs in the Western Atlantic from North Carolina to southern Brazil, including the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean and Bermuda with strays occurring as far north as Massachusetts. Color is variable and can change, however the head and body are generally dark brown with a reddish cast. Like other grouper, reds are usually caught while bottom fishing with live or cut bait. Their food value is good, but not quite as tasty as other groupers types. Courtesy of the International Game Fish Association.
