All of our RealSea™ wetsuits are custom fabricated under the supervision of Roger Yazbeck and are made to the same quality and specifications of the Yazbeck suits. Our 3mil suits are cut from the highest quality Yamamoto neoprene. The outer laminated layer is made from 4 way, 600% stretch LYCRA with the camo pattern sublimated on the LYCRA with permanent high quality processes. Super strong liquid polyurethane and heat applied Kevlar™ patches reinforce key seam stress points. Large padded chest gun loading pads are on every suit. Suits are anatomically designed and cut for a great fit with low leakage seals in cuffs, ankles and face areas to prevent cold water intrusion. Inside the suits you will find a technically advanced Nanoprene Shield™ lining. Its bioceramic and titanium oxide coating reflects body heat to retain core temperatures, prevents bacterial buildup, allows easy donning and removal and creates low friction for optimum performance. Our 1.5mil suits are built with the same quality as our 3mil suits and are designed to be extremely tough in our Florida, Gulf, Atlantic coast and Carribean marine environment. Reefs, rocks, wrecks and submerged structures require a suit that will hold up to and perform day after day in such demanding situations. The neoprene is of the best quality, covered by an outer camo layer of polyester for durability and toughness. The inside is lined with Jersey fabric for comfort and ease of donning and removal. Three years ago, sitting on a deer stand while bowhunting in Wyoming, I watched as deer seemed to not even know that I was there. I had been deer hunting for the past 20 years and finally realized that all the new camo and scent free clothing technology really did give me an advantage and a sense of concealment. It boosted my confidence level and made me a better hunter. It sure has come a long way compared to the old long sleeved Trebark t-shirt of 20 years ago. Besides, I like wearing camo when I'm not hunting just to show my love and support of the sport. The following summer, August of 2003, I was in the Keys spearfishing and lobster diving. My thoughts went back to the deer in Wyoming as I was trying to outwit a Hog Snapper in 30 feet of water. Why couldn't I develop a marine camo pattern that would give me some concealment while in the water? We can take the same concept and process used in hunting camo, that blends into it's environment, and develop a SEA CAMO pattern. While diving a huge mass of Sargasso Seaweed moved by the wind and currents, drifted around me. I have seen it hundreds of times before but never gave it much thought. As I tried to swim t hrough the tangled mass of it, something caught my eye. A small school of Rainbow runners were being attacked by Barracuda and Jacks. They would swim into the Seaweed to escape their attackers. As long as they stayed concealed in the Seaweed all went well but as soon as they tried to leave the attack would begin. I immediately realized that this Sargasso Seaweed was a natural camo pattern. There are hundreds of tiny fish, shrimp and crabs that live their whole life in it concealed from predators. Sargasso Seaweed is found in most of the worlds oceans and seas where the majority of outdoor marine recreational activities take place The concept of a marine camo using the natural colors of this wonderful seaweed in its own environment was born. ***Due to the delicate properties of the the materials used to manufacture this wetsuit, we are not responsible for any tears caused during use.
