Maverick America 1 Atmosphere Bluewater Float
33liter 110lb Buoyancy
The new submersible Blue Water Inflatable Float is made with the most desirable features of inflatable blue water floats. It's constructed using two casings; an inner bladder made of polyeurethane-coated nylon used more commonly in the medical industry; and an outer casing constructed of two-tone 1000 Denier Cordura fabric for abrasion resistance, but most importantly to protect from fish fin punctures, accidental brushes with speartips, knives, etc.
The oral inflator valve components are stainless steel and brass with a lock ring. The fluorescent material on the top side was chosen for its high visibility over conventional orange. The graphite bottom half is low glare. Three stainless steel D-rings and 3 rubberized handles provide a sure grip for the strong pull of game fish. The generous sizes of 100cm total length (40") with a circumference of 77cm (30") provide 100 lbs (45kg) of lift at the surface. A velcro pocket for a dive weight ensures it stays upright while the velcro cummerbund on the bottom is designed to make it easy to transport the divers float line while traveling or to strap accessories beneath.
All parts are of the highest quality and workmanship. Made in USA. Lifetime Warranty.
Some marker buoys are of a single-skin design, these are the cheaper option, as the single-skin construction is less resistant to punctures than that of a double-skin design. The double-skin buoy consists of an inner bladder and an outer cover. The outer cover is made from a strong puncture-resistant material. More expensive marker buoys often have pockets for storing spares or snacks, as well as having loops and straps to attach your speargun(s).
