This dive flag kit is one of a kind and built to last! Use this kit to add a Dive Flag to most Buoys/Floats with a weight counterbalance that keeps the flag upright and visible at all times. You can use any 2 lbs. weight from your weight belt (weight not included) to attach to the buoy with the included zip ties.
The flag is Made from heavy-duty 48 grams / 210 Denier Nylon, and brass grommets, making it thicker, and more durable than most dive flags in the market. It is built to endure high winds and rough seas! Bright red and white colors for a clear warning to others. The Flag measures 12" by 16" with a fiberglass stiffening pole to comply with state buoy laws. Most states (including Florida) require these specifications for use on a buoy.
The Flag's Fiberglass stiffener keeps the flag fully displayed in still conditions. The Pole fits through the sleeve and into a Velcro pouch to keep it secure. The fiberglass construction is superior to the steel wire that is common on dive flags in the market today. The Fiberglass rod will not bend or rust during use.
