The Lobster Tickle Stick with Snare is designed to catch Lobsters of all sizes and is made of high-quality thick-walled lightweight aluminum, with high-grade Stainless steel vinyl-coated cable for extended use in saltwater.
A very simple, but very effective tool with one-hand operation. No cable to pull or locking mechanisms that fail and need replacement. What commercial divers use to quickly and easily catch many lobsters. There is a Snare on one end, turn it around, and you have a tickle stick. Two tools in one.
To catch a lobster, tickle the bug out of the cave with the tickle stick end of the Snare so you can slip the loop behind the lobster and around its tail. Quickly pull the tickle stick towards you to close the loop and quickly grab the lobster. Don't forget to measure and check for eggs!
The end with the snare has a 30-degree bend that makes it easier to loop the lobster while approaching from the front or the top.
The stainless steel vinyl-coated cable has been manufactured specifically to provide enough snapback to keep the loop opened, while not having to use too much pulling force to keep the lobster looped.
The 36" aluminum rod is corrosion-resistant, thick-walled, and very light, weighing only 4 ounces. This makes this tool very easy to maneuver underwater. One end has a 40-degree bend to help tickle the lobster from behind while facing it from the front.
