The tri-cut point has three flat heads for even more cutting power over the rockpoint. The hingeable adapter has a break-off point in the middle that uses a spring-loaded cable to absorb all the motion from a fighting fish to ensure your shaft lives to see a second trophy shot. When the fish pulls in any direction, the front half of the tip will follow, connected by the cable, but not putting pressure on the main shaft.
